Conference Host Information

The focus of the conference is in support of mechanical, electrical, technical, and press maintenance staff and managers supporting Goss double-width presses. We tend to avoid in-depth sessions that focus on printing operational issues as we feel that this is the domain of the Metro Users' Group.

The Newspaper Maintenance Conferences have typically been held sometime in the May/June timeframe. We usually have a reception on Sunday evening, the hold the conference on Monday and Tuesday and half day on Wednesday. Somewhere in there is a tour of the host newspaper.

Goss is always the key to providing support staff to help with technical issues brought up by the user base, but beginning recently, other vendors who support Goss double-width presses with technical expertise or parts have been invited to enrich the conversation and depth of experience. At the 2007 conference, all vendors were welcome to attend all sessions with the exception of the final "newspapers only" session.
